It's the Greatest Time of Year...

My favorite time of year is almost here! Although summer is one of my favorite seasons, fall is right up there with it. Not only is the greatest holiday ever known to man-kind in it, October 12, my birthday (juuust kiidddding, but seriously though) but there is so much stuff going on! This is the time of year when you get to break out the cute fall clothes and this is when festivals/fairs are starting up and its just a refreshing season! This time of year you can go outside with a fair amount of clothes and not be drenched in sweat in the first two seconds and not be freezing cold. The air outside is so brisk. There's a road in Winston-Salem that I would always drive down whenever I went to the gym and it was by far the best road to drive down during the fall. The tree branches would curl over the road making it sort of a tunnel. When the leaves would change it was such a breath taking view. In fact here is a picture of that very road below.

I'm so excited for the fairs and festivals that come, like the Dixie Classic Fair and this year I plan on attending the State Fair for the first time. I always look forward to going to any time of festival, fair, or parade this time of year. The food is the greatest! Even though whatever you get is a heart attack on a plate, it's the most delicious thing you will ever taste. You have blooming onions, turkey legs, fried oreos, and so much more! At the fair's you have the amazing rides that will spin you until you can't stand, but it's so awesome! The lights on the rides and tents at night are beautiful to look at too. The decorations this time of year can't be beat (unless it's Christmas time of course).
Every where you go there are decorations, leaves are changing colors and the weather outside has this crispy feeling to it. I can't wait for Halloween either.  The decorations are the greatest. You get to see carved pumpkins, fake spider webs, skeletons, witches, and anything spooky. No matter how old you are, these decorations can always bring the child out of anyone, which is why I love them so much.
The best part about this time is the scary movies that come out. I looooove scary movies! Whenever my friends and I have a movie night, it's always a scary movie night. What I love about scary movies is that they keep you on the edge of your seat (or couch) the entire time. You never know what's going to happen next, unless you're an expert like me and can now predict a lot of the scary movies, but that still doesn't make me love it any less. If you can predict what's going to happen in a scary movie, then it's awful one. The best are the one's that have moments that come out of nowhere. I have yet to see a scary movie that truly scares my socks off.
I can't stress enough how much I love this time of year. I love everything about the fall; the weather, the food, the entertainment, everything!
