Feeder 1.2 for English 101

Videos from Vimeo

I really like this video because of the fact by just watching you get a smile out of it. Throughout my career at Chapel Hill I want to remain a happy person and don't let anything bad get in my way as I climb to the top.

This may seem kind of stretch, but when I saw this video, it sort of reminded me of the circle of life. While I'm living here at Chapel Hill I'll still be living my life, but lots of things will change, like in the video, the colors were always going in a circular motion, but they were always changing shapes and colors. I only hope throughout these coming years I can adapt to the many changes and obstacles that will be thrown at me.

Desert road into the mountains

This photo represents the long road ahead. It shows that I am ready to take this road to the top of the mountain, cliche I know, but I all I want to do is succeed at whatever I choose to do.

28/365 - The strengths in your character will bring you serenity. (Explore #321)

This photo really struck me with the quote. I symbolizes that as I go through college, I want to get stronger and I want my character to grow.

Sail boat on Puget Sound, Seattle Washington

This photo represents the fact that I can float on my own. As long as I have the support of my friends and family which would be symbolized by the sails, and me being symbolized by the boat, I can do anything and go anywhere I want to.

The eagle is one of the most bold and strongest birds out there, and they also seem pretty confident. This represents that one day I hope to become a confident, bold person. I want to be able to figure out what I want to do with my life, and do anything I can to get there.

As I am trying to fit in at Chapel Hill, I don't want to completely blend in and go with the crowd. I want to still keep the characteristics that make me unique from everyone else. I don't want to lose those important aspects as I grow here.

Photos of My Own from Flickr

clam

This is a photo of me and my best friend, Chelsea, Addie, and Lindsey. We always have so much fun together and there is never a moment that we aren't having fun. Throughout college I am without a doubt keeping in touch with all of them because I can't imagine my life without them.

fam

This a photo of my family on graduation day. Without them I wouldn't be where am I today. And also without them I wouldn't be who I am today. They have helped me through everything and I owe everything to them for supporting me and helping get to Chapel Hill. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

swimming

This is a picture of me swimming. Sports have been such a huge aspect of my life and I have done swimming pretty much my entire life. I love the rush that you get before a big meet or a big game, it's honestly like a drug to me. It was always a good way for me to relieve any stress I had.  It's hard for me to imagine myself not being involved with any kind of sport because I have been involved all my life. That is why here at Chapel Hill I hope to get involved into some kind of club or intramural sport so that I can have fun!

ny

This photo symbolizes to me that I'm ready to go off on my own without my parents there for me to lean on. This is when my friends and I took a trip up to NYC this summer by ourselves. As soon as we landed and was driven to our hotel in the taxi, I absolutely fell in love with the place. When I get older, I can really see myself living a big city like New York City.

me and linds

This is me and my friend Lindsey just having fun. We know how to have a good time, and we are always laughing. I hope to keep my sense of humor and stay happy throughout my years at Chapel Hill.

todayshow

This is a photo of when my friends and I were at the Today Show when we visited NYC. We were actually on TV and lots of our friends and family saw us, it was so exciting! We went out at 4 in the morning at were third in line to get there; we were so determined. I hope that I will be able to stay as determined as I was that morning through college. I know that sometimes things might get hard, but that doesn't mean I should give up on it. I hope that my determination will stick with me.
