Alex Reid's "orienting toward composition"

Alexander Reid's post has the right idea about a composition class about the fact that it's hard and it's a simple. Becoming a good writer is no walk in the park, and there is really no other way to become one unless there is motivation. Yes there can be grades and the saying "this will help you later in your career" but those two reasons really lack the motivation needed. He helps us visualize his thought process with comparisons to hitting a baseball bat and cake mix. I like how Reid is straight forward about the whole thing. In the end he says that if you want to become a better writer you can, and if you don't you won't. He basically says to just do the work and you'll pass. There's no better way to put than that.
